Safari Golf Club
This year will be the 29th year for the JBO and 5th at Safari Golf Course. The course is conveniently located across from the Columbus Zoo, includes many upgrades in recent years, and has friendly course personnel. The course should offer a balanced challenge for our group. All-inclusive cost is $100/person for golf, skins, after-golf buffet, skill prizes, and raffle awards.
Welcome to The Joe Bell Open website! We've been at this for 29 years and used this site to capture the fun and events of the outing. It's my pleasure to host this annual event for family, friends and co-workers and many thanks to family members that make it memorable for all.
A portion of 2026's golf proceeds will be donated to support senior citizen causes.
I hope you enjoy this site as I will continue to post updated payment and pairing info. Be sure to view the About tab for details about the format, location and times. Thanks for your advanced payments and there is still time if you have not made your payment. The Handicap Committee will judgementally adjust handicaps to equalize the field of competition.
